Q. Why the name Mulyoo?
A. Mulyoo is a play on the word “milieu,” which means community and the first part “mu” was used because of the software used to host the blogs.

Q. Do you provide domain mapping service.
A. Yes. We provide domain mapping feature at no extra cost. Please check out our support blog to learn how.

Q. Do you provide domain mapping service for subdomains?
A. Yes, and it works the same way as above.

Q. Is domain mapping a good idea?
A. Yes it is. We offer domain mapping because we are very aware about SEO (search engine optimization). If you decide to move your blog over to your own server or to another service, you won’t need to start over in search engines if you use your own domain name as well as use the same permalink structure.

Q. Do you provide custom themes?
A. At the moment we do not but we will in the future. Also, it will be your theme and not shared with the community. When you leave, your theme will go with you and deleted from our system.

Q. Do you provide service or help for other companies to setup a blogging community like Mulyoo?
A. Not at the moment, but we will in future. Please check out our roadmap for more info.

Q. Do you have the option of letting users delete their blog?
A. Yes, but if you are moving over to another blog service, please make sure that you export all your information and save it to your computer’s harddrive before deleting your blog. Otherwise, once it is deleted it is gone forever.

Q. How many themes can we choose from?
A. There are 60+ themes to choose from and more are being added.

Q. Can we customize the theme we are using?
A. You may customize the header of a theme with your own customized header if that option is availabe for a particular theme. Also, you can port a theme over to your blogs directly by using the userthemes option. However, userthemes is in beta.

Q. I am new to Wordpress. Do you have any tutorials?
A. Please check out the video section of our website for help in managing your blog and learning more about Wordpress. If you need further help, please contact us via the help desk.

Q. Do you offer email accounts?
A. We only offer email accounts to those who are using the domain mapping service. Just create a support ticket letting us know what email address or addresses you would like created.

Q. Do you provide a hosting package?
A. No, we do not provide hosting packages at the moment. We are only a medium through which people can create a blog and worry about content while we worry about all the technical stuff.

Q. There is an option enabled on my blog that I don’t need or want. How can I disable it?
A. Most options are controlled by the super administrator. In order to disable a function (i.e. user registration), create a support ticket at the help desk.

Q. What steps should I take to cancel my account?
A. The first thing you should do is cancel all our the services that you have subscribed to (i.e. domain mapping, custom css, etc.). Once you have completed that, then you should log into your payment account at http://mulyoo.com/account/member.php. Once logged in, click on the “Your Payment History” tab and under product you should see a cancel link. Click on that link and it will take you to your paypal account where you will complete the cancellation.
